Shelby County Republicans

Promoting the principles of freedom, equality, and justice while using truth to support the Republican Party and its ideals

The Shelby County Republican Women was founded in 1996. The first members met at Pizza Ranch in downtown Harlan. Their vision was to support the Republican Party and the principles our government was founded upon.

Currently the Shelby County Republican Women has 16 members and it is still growing. The committee has a President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer. We meet on the last Monday of each month at 7:00.

If you would like to attend one of these meetings, feel free to contact our secretary at 2knuds@metc.net. We look forward to meeting you!

Our committee has six core objectives. They are as follows:

1) to foster and encourage loyalty to the Republican Party and to promote its ideals

2) to support the policies of the Republican national, State and County Central Committees

3) to collect and distribute reliable information concerning governmental and political affairs

4) to cooperate in the election of Republican nominees

5) to promote the principles of freedom, equality and justice upon which our government is founded

6) to increase the effectiveness of women in the cause of good government
